The Old Rules Proposition
In today’s CP armies, we have battles limited to 1 hour, judged by size and rooms taken. There are few battles, and invasions aren’t what they should be, because you have to inform the enemy you are going to attack them first, and wait for them to get ready. The best rules to ever be around for fighting on Club Penguin were around from the creation of the first real armies in 2005, to the point that the first of the new rules of today were implemented, circa 2008. I am going to present some rules that would bring us back to the type of fighting in the early days of armies and explain reasons of why they are indeed an improvement over todays rules.
1. Abolishment of the 24 hour notice law and 1 hour battles.
Yeppers, its terrible, why should anyone have to give their enemy time to prepare for an invasion or battle? it should be reduced to 5 hours or so, because then you can schedule a battle or invasion for the same day, and its not too much of an advantage to the attackers, because it gives their troops less time to prepare as well, but it means you get to attack sooner. Also, battles should last until one army admits defeat, or they leave the server completely, having one hour of battle isnt fun, you have a limited time to fight the enemy, without a time limit, you fight until victory, not until the buzzer sounds. In the old days it was like this, you fought until the other army left or surrendered.
2. Armies should be completely free to raid an enemy server at any time to occupy it
Theres no rule against this, but people always get mad at enemies for doing this, and why? No rule says they cant, its a raid, this, along with the shorter amount of time to notice an invasion post of an enemy, supports the idea of patroling servers whenever possible, which is bringing more activity to Club Penguin itself, which is the main place to be on club penguin when your in an army(Not chat, chat is for orders and for leading the soldiers in patrol, etc).
3. Make a law for no-ally Wars
They are announced, but since nothing says its an official type of war, most dont respect it, and no ally wars are the wars of the strong armies, who dont need a thousand allies to help them, the ones that stand their own ground alone.
